History Society Meeting – St. Bartholemews Church, Great Harwood – TBC

Grade II listed, the parish church of Great Harwood has a 15th century tower, the rest of the church being 16th century. Many of you will have spotted it nestling at the top of the town by Memorial Park. Here’s a chance to explore! Details to be formalised, check the Belthorn website or keep your ear to the ground.

There is no event planned for August as last year it clashed with some of the happily increasing number of local events in the towns around us, including Darwen’s 1940s Day – which is well worth a visit.
